The end of February saw a group of accomplished industry leaders enjoy a special retreat in Newport, New Jersey. This gathering, known as the Managers Retreat, featured a weekend of learning, networking, and making big plans for the rest of 2020. Our top leaders expanded their networks during the getaway, and brought lots of unique insights back to the Pursuit Promotional Management office. Our managers had plenty to share during the retreat as well, including some notes on the following key leadership behaviors:
• Opening the Floor: The most effective leaders make their team members feel welcome to share their ideas. Our managers have made the Pursuit Promotional Management workspace an open and trusting atmosphere by listening to our voices at all times.
• Sharing Clear Visions of Success: Our managers don’t just create compelling visions of future wins; they communicate them in ways that inspire. We always have a good idea of where we want to go, and how to get there. This makes it easy for us to stay engaged and motivated from one demanding challenge to the next.
• Providing Feedback: Rather than wait for scheduled reviews, our leaders find time to offer helpful input on a regular basis. We know our frontrunners are invested in our success, because they help us improve.
We’re looking forward to the next big retreat. To keep up with all our team travel events, follow Pursuit Promotional Management on LinkedIn.
